Hiking the Golan Trail

It was inspiring to spend couple of days hiking the Golan Trail with my nephew Eden.  The fresh spring view have captivating essence as if you are walking through a different country

Years ago in my M.F.A thesis in U.C. Irvine, I wrote this line:
"The cows ate grass and contemplated the secrets of the universe."

On the bus back these Druse women were traveling with their daughters to have a picnic in the Nebi Hazori Shrine.

Winter Memories 12 203

Next to my house a small cluster of wooden houses are waiting quietly to be demolished soon.  On a late wintery afternoon I took this series of photographs. Somehow they reminded me of the South of the United States.

Pictures at an Exhibition

At the impressive Jeff Wall exhibition at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art:

In 2009 I wrote a short narrative about this photograph titled The Covered Tray. Rereading it again now, I remembered that the dream scene described in it is actually autobiographical.
