Homage to my late mother

My mother Tsipora Avrahmov was one of the first horticulturists in the new state of Israel, beginning around 1947 in Kibbutz Yakkum.
In 1976 while visiting Switzerland she brought a cutting from the white Youki San Rose which she was able to nurse into an healthy bush. As she was a good friend of Motke Nevo of Kibbutz Maoz Haim who was Israel pioneer rose breeder, she gave him some cuttings which he was able to propagate.

This rose is not available in Israel now, but almost on my mother's birthday I planted two beautiful Pescali white roses from Israel premier rose nursery of Keren Tzur today as a homage to my mother whose passion for gardening is continuing here.
